Finance minister sees Russia’s inflation at 4.0–4.1% in 2018

MOSCOW, Dec 25 (PRIME) – Russia’s consumer price inflation index will amount to 4.0–4.1% in 2018, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters on Tuesday.

“Inflation (will be) somewhere 4.0–4.1% this year. Maybe, a bit more than 4%,” Siluanov said.

According to the latest official forecast by the Economic Development Ministry, the 2018 inflation is expected at 3.4% but Minister Maxim Oreshkin said that it might be higher.
